Studio II (Main Studio) is the state-of-the-art sound processing facility for the Dancz Center for New Music. Equipped with a Merging Technologies Anubis and HAPI units, it serves as a recording and mixing facility for live and studio recordings in Dancz Hall. For students interested in exploring spatial audio, Main studio hosts a 12.1 flexible spatial audio configuration of Adam Audio monitors, which accommodate a number of standard surround mixing formats as well as ambisonics projects. Booking of Media Studio is reserved for students who are enrolled in or have competed Media Composition (MUSI 4650/6650), Electroacoustic Composition (MUSI 5720/7720), or the relevant training sessions.
