Studio III (Classic) is the Dancz Center for New Music's link to the past. Optimized for analog recording and editing with 2 Tascam BR 20T 1/4" 2-Track Recorder and home to our ARP 2500 and ARP 2600 voltage controlled synthesizers, the studio provides students with the opportunity to explore analog sounds for creative purposes. Robust inter-studio communication allows users to transfer these sounds freely to and from the digital studios for further processing. Classic Studio also houses a control station serving lighting, live recording, and live streaming for performances in the Black Box Theater.
