Dancz Hall is black-box multimedia theater with theatrical lighting, flexible audience seating, a 16.4 EAW spatial audio system for flexible surround formats and 3D audio, along with state-of-the-art communication capability with the three adjacent electronic music composition studios through both analog network and a Ravenna Audio over IP network. It provides composers, performers, and audiences a unique atmosphere conducive to contemporary music, experimental and interactive performances. It is reserved exclusively for the performance and recording of 21st-century music and art, and serves as the rehearsal space for new music and electronic music ensembles.
