Directions to the River Road from the North, South, West, and East: From the North: From US 441 and US 129 go under the Athens Perimeter and make an immediate left onto the Athens Perimeter (Loop 10). Continue on the Athens Perimeter following the signs for GA Loop 10 (you will have to exit right to stay on the loop) to the College Station Road exit (Exit #7). Exit right onto College Station and, at the first traffic light, turn right onto River Road. From the South: Take US 129/441 or GA 15 North into Watkinsville. In Watkinsville, Highway 15 and US 129 join to become the main street. Continue North into Athens. Approaching Athens, at the Clarke County line, there will be a sign indicating Highway 441 North and a right turn (there will also be a sign for the University of Georgia). Turn right at this sign onto Loop 10, the Athens Perimeter. Proceed on Loop 10 until reaching exit #7, the College Station Road exit. Exit off Loop 10, then turn left onto College Station Road. After passing under the by-pass bridge, turn right at the second traffic light onto River Road From the West: The easiest route is to enter Athens by taking GA 316 to the Athens Perimeter. Bear right onto the Athens Perimeter (Loop 10) traveling east (For reference purposes, there is a sign for the University of Georiga/Athens ByPass at the junction of GA 316 and the Athens Perimeter). After approximately five miles on the Perimeter, exit onto College Station Road (exit #7). Take a left onto College Station Road. After passing under the by-pass bridge, turn right at the second traffic light onto River Road. From the East: Take US 78 West to Athens. In Athens, travel under the Athens Perimeter (GA Loop 10) then take a left at the next traffic light onto the Perimeter going westbound. Exit the Perimeter at the next exit, which is College Station Road (exit #7). Turn right onto College Station Road and, at the first traffic light, turn right onto River Road. From River Road to Parking Lot E11: From all directions, once on River Road Follow River Road through the East Campus Village complex. Bear right at the split just past the East Campus Parking Deck to stay on River Road. At the first street entrance on your left, turn left and proceed up the hill. Once you reach the top of the hill take the first left into the parking area for the School of Music. To get to the Dancz Center from Parking Lot E11: The Dancz Center is located in Room 264 of the School of Music. Once parked, proceed down the sidewalk toward the second floor entrance of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music. Approximately halfway down the sidewalk (at the first steps) bear right on the alternative sidewalk that bypasses the steps. Proceed around the curve until you reach a right turn onto a sidewalk leading to a set of glass double-doors. Enter the Hodgson School of Music through this side entrance. Dancz Hall is immediately on your right. From Within HHSOM: Using either stairwell or the elevators go to the second floor of the school. a. Exiting the elevators: Turn left, proceed through the seond floor lobby, and continue down the interior hall. Once you reach the end of the hall, turn right and continue until you reach the double doors. Go through the double doors and, again, turn right. Dancz Hall will be on your left just before you exit the building. b. Exiting the East stairwell: Turn right, proceed through the second-floor lobby, and continue down the interior hall. Once you reach the end of the hall, turn right and continue until you reach the double doors. Go through the double doors and, again, turn right. Dancz Hall will be on your left just before you exit the building. c. Exiting the West stairwell: Turn right and continue until you reach the double doors. Go through the double doors and, again, turn right. Dancz Hall will be on your left just before you exit the building.
